With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Mary Thompson of Gulfport, Mississippi, who passed away on October 19, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Barnes and Aradie Barnes-Wilson; and her husband Douglass Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Robert Thompson (Violet), Willie Mae "Sue" Feagin, Frederick Thompson, Angela Thompson (Michael) and Douglas Maurice Thompson (Jeanell); her brothers, Willie Lee Barnes of Victorville, CA and Eddie Barnes of Lake Charles, LA; and her grandchildren, Tamika Weir, Cornelius Thompson, ShayZah Thompson, Tatiana Eckford, Tavanisha King, Gavin Easter, Frederick Ramsey Thompson, Tyriq Ramsey Thompson and Za'Cara Graves. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
