We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2023, at the age of 99, Mildred Hancock Johnson of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Dewey and Alice Mildred Hancock; her husband Robert Lloyd Johnson, Sr.; her daughter Beverly Johnson; her brothers, C. D. Hancock, James Hancock, Joe Hancock and Don Hancock; and her son-in-law Mike Severson.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Brewer (Eddie), Becky Severson and Bobby Johnson (Cheryl); her siblings, Betty Lou Holder and Philip Hancock; her grandchildren, Sarah Haman (John), Frank Szymanski, Rob Johnson, Zack Johnson and Cody Blanton; her great grandchildren, Parker, Alaina and Chailynn; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tripp, Isabella, Hunter, Forrest, Fischer, Brooke, Brees, Lindsey and Rachel.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
