Hawthorne (Shana); her daughter-in-law Damaris Simmons (Herman); her grandchildren, Herman Matthew Simmons IV (Ebony), Bethany Simmons, Gabrielle Hawthorne, Julian Simmons (Cierra), Nicholas Hawthorne, Kelli Blair Hawthorne, Justin Hawthorne and Raeven Hawthorne-Whitfield; her nephew Courtney Jones; her aunt Gloria Bailey; her uncles, Raymond Arnold and Louis Arnold; her friends, Kay Redmond, Ann Branch, Elizabeth Amos and Mary Dedeaux; and her close friend Deacon Bill Robinson (Bill). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
