He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Heidelberg Sr. and Edna Sullivan Heidelberg; and his brother Ollie Meredith. He is survived by: his close friend Carla Williams; his son Scott Alford; and his siblings, Ronald "Run" Heidelberg, Luther Heidelberg Jr. and Edna Evans. He is also survived by nephews and one niece; other relatives and good friends.
