He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Fredericks and Miriam Trochesset Fredericks; and his sister Denise Fredericks. He is survived by: his wife Stacey Scofield; his sons, Justin and Matt; his brother-in-law Scott Scofield; his close friend Holly Henderson; and his siblings, Kevin Lawrence and Carol Broussard.
