He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Wynne McCaleb. He is survived by: his children, Pam McCaleb White (Neel White) of Austin and Roy McCaleb (Janice McCaleb) of Greenwood, MS; and his brother Jimmy McCaleb of Itta Bena, MS. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
