He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard H. Roberts and Thelma Grantham Roberts; and his wife Doris Ratliff Roberts. He is survived by: his children, Richard M. "Chip" Roberts, Jr. (Mary Grace) of Little Elm, TX and Patricia Diane Roberts of Greenwood; and his sisters, Betty Turner of Greenwood and Julie Hathcock of Lexington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew and cousins.
