He is survived by: his wife Connie; his daughters, Liza Upshaw (Steve) and Molly Blakeney (Austin); his grandchildren, Kitty Pinkston (Drew), Brewer Upshaw (Rachel), Simms and Lucy Blakeney; his great grandchildren, James and Julia Pinkston; his nieces and nephews, T. U. Black, III, Jan B. Stokes and Ashley B. Daves; and his child Box.
