She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merrel Parker 'Mackie Johnson and Julian Ernest 'Jack Johnson, Jr.; her husband Richard Allen Wood, III; her daughters, Martha Boswell Brock (Lucius) and Merrel Boswell Patridge (Bailey); her grandchildren, James Lucius Brock, Jr., George Forrester Brock, Anne Callaway Patridge, Price Forrester Patridge and Walter Jewell Patridge; and her brothers, Julian Ernest 'Jack Johnson, III and Henry Parker Johnson (Judy).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, First Presbyterian Church of Greenwood, Leflore County Humane Shelter, or the charity of the donor's choice.
