Mary Tate Galey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2022, at the age of 95, Mary Tate Galey of Greenwood, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Lee Tate, Sr.; her husband George W. Galey; her son Terry Galey; and her siblings, Albert Watson Tate, Robert Lee Tate, Jr., Elizabeth Tate Perry and Irene Tate Baugus.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Galey (Sandra) of Greenwood, MS; her daughter-in-law Donna Galey of Greenwood, MS; her brother Billy Tate of Sidon, MS; and her grandchildren, Brad Galey (Amanda), Michael Galey (Ashlea), Matthew Galey, Jason Galey, Colby Galey (Geney) and Jennifer Marshall (Brent). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
