He was predeceased by: his father John Chester Goss. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Slawson Goss of Greenwood, MS; his siblings, Margaret "Cookie" Miles of Greenwood, MS, James Earl Goss, Sr. of Duck Hill, MS and Marshall Dale Goss, Sr. of Ripley, TN; and his daughter Jessica Barmer of Hernando, MS. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and a number of nieces, and nephews.
