She was predeceased by: her father Odie McClurg; her husbands, Selton Sullivan and Herman Hoover; and her daughters, Shirley Hoover Farmer and Wanda Gaye Hoover.
She is survived by: her children, Van Hoover (Belinda) of Carrollton, MS, Donald Drayden Hoover (Carolyn) of Teoc, MS, Rita Hoover Gober (Don) of Grenada and Kaye Hoover Riley of Hernando; and her half-siblings, Bonnie Scallion Bunkin of Vicksburg, MS, Glee Sellers of Greenwood, MS, Mary Curtis of Kilmichael, MS, Morgan McClurg, Wendall McClurg and Sonny McClurg. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren, and a great great-grandchild.
