She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James A. Carter and Alva Mullen Carter; her husband Richard Miles Bussey; her children, Karen Upchurch of Greenwood, Kim Smith (Dale) of Indianola and Mike Bussey (Debbie) of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Dawne Upchurch Holmes (Keith), Melanie Wilkerson (Russ), Michael Bussey, Jr. (Kristi), Lauren Bussey Cogswell (Jesse), Kristina Christian (Justin), Ty Smith and Jacob Smith; her great grandchildren, Cody Holmes, Emily Holmes, Austin Winter (Anna Lauren), Kaitlyn Bussey, Mary Carter Bussey, Michael Bussey, III, Miles Cogswell, Shepherd Cogswell, Ford Cogswell, Olivia Christian and Sawyer Christian; and her great great grandchild Hayes Bussey.
