It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Louise Parnell of Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on September 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanford Parnell and Flora Ellen Blanton Parnell; and her sister Anne Parnell Hestilow. She is survived by: her brother William Parnell of Ruston; and her sons, Donald Wright Abel, Jr. (Jackie) of Nashville, Stanford Douglas Abel (Margie) of Oxford, Walker Randall Abel (Holly) of Oxford and Cameron Morgan Abel (Buddy Hendricks) of Greenwood. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and beloved nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Golden Ark Animal Shelter of Greenwood or the Leflore County Humane Society.
