He was predeceased by: his parent Avner Pinkham Henderson; his daughter Audrey Elaine Smith; his brother Jerry Wayne Henderson; and his great grandchild Thomas Horn III. He is survived by: his wife Elena Frances Chaffin Henderson of Greenwood, MS; his sons, Douglas Eugene Henderson, Jr. of Sardis, MS and Stacy Allen Henderson of Sardis, MS; his brother James "Jimmy" Henderson of Greenwood, MS; and his grandchildren, Cynthia Renee Overstreet (Chris), Tommy Horn (Nicole) and Dustin Henderson (Jody). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
