He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Madison and Elizabeth Shute Pentecost; his wife Celia Wade Pentecost; his daughters, Lindsey Hair (Ben) and Marley Sullivan (Dustin); his sister Sharon Watkins (Earley) of Moody, TX; and his grandchildren, Chloe Hair of Greenwood, Ella Hair of Greenwood, Dean Sullivan of Greenwood, Henry Hair of Greenwood and Sadie Sullivan of Greenwood.

Memorials may be made to the NGBC Audio and Visual Fund, 8 Days of Hope or Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief fund.
