She was predeceased by: her husband Boyd Kent; her parents, John McCurley and Bernice McCurley; and her brother John Wesley McCurley. She is survived by: her sisters, Marie Toler (Charlie), Vivian Pedigo and Ann Bruce (Wesley). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
