She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bryant Wilkinson and Doll VanNorman Wilkinson; her husband Robert Harold Smith; her daughter Patsy Adam; and her brothers, Paul E. Wilkinson and Malcolm L. Wilkinson.

She is survived by: her son Michael Adam (Tammi); her granddaughter Lily; her son Robert Adam (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Susannah, Ruth and Joanna; her daughters, Judy Matte and Jamey Bachman (Ben); her grandchildren, Taylor Lynn and Katie Beth; her son Robert H. Smith Jr.; her grandchildren, Sara Froman (Cody), Annalee and Dalton; and her sister Ernestine Lewis.
