He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Yeager Dale and Madison Sylvester Dale Sr.; his stepmother Janie Sanders Dale; his brother Madison Sylvester Dale, Jr.; his sister-in-law Pi Dale; and his stepsisters, Mary Sanders Hughes and Peggy Sanders Sparkman.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Pinkston Dale; his sons, Daniel Anthony Dale, Jr. (Katie) and Dr. Wood Whittington Dale (Kelly); his grandchildren, Daniel Anthony Dale III, Katharine Maree Dale and Wood Whittington Dale II; his brother James Yeager Dale of Greenwood; his stepsister Penny Sanders Varner of Vicksburg; his nieces, Ellen Dale O'neal (Kenny) of Madison, Kathryn Dale Roland (Sessions) of Madison and Mary Dabney Dale Goldbeck of Starkville; and his nephew James Yeager Dale, Jr. (Lauren) of Greenwood. He is also survived by nieces, step nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Locus Benedictus. Special Needs Playground Fund, St. Jude Children's Reasearch Hospital or the charity of donor's choice.
