He is survived by: his pet Ole Miss Football; his wife Butchie Barnes of Forest, MS; his children, Cherry Jenkins (David) of Flowery Branch, GA. and Chet Barnes (Melissa) of Leesburg, MS; his brother Tommy Barnes of Lorena, MS; and his grandchildren, Erin Barnes, Emma Barnes, Davis Barnes and Sophie Jenkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
