We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2022, at the age of 84, Barney Burnell Coolman of Florence, Mississippi, born in Colfax, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Gilbert; his wife Sandra LeMoine Coolman; and his siblings, Emma Sanders, Geneva May, John Henry Coolman, Christy Coolman, Andrew Coolman, Walter Coolman and Billie Rae Chelette.

He is survived by: his children, Steven B. Coolman (Kandy), Becky Jo Fonville (Chauncey), Daniel E. Coolman (Cheryl) and Jesse T. Coolman (Sabrina); his sister Janie Mae Ballard (Cecil Wayne); his grandchildren, Austin Coolman (Monty), Tucker Coolman, Amber Fonville, Isabel Fonville, Micah Coolman (Sarah), JuLea Coolman, Isla Coolman, Ethan Coolman and Benjamin Clay Moak; and his great grandchild Mason Coolman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
