He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Etherton and Esther Etherton. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Etherton; his sons, John Etherton, Jr. (Pam) and Robert D. Etherton (Becky); his grandchildren, Shanna Harard, John G. Etherton III, Savanna Etherton and Montanna Etherton; and his sister-in-law Joy Leistiko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
