It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Walston Jr. of DeKalb, Mississippi, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lucas Lamm and Robert Lee Walston Sr. (June Walston); and his children, Elizabeth Shields and James Earl Walston. He is survived by: his children, Mary Lynn Edger (Randy), Glen Scott, Robert Walston III, Caroline Barrett (Jay), Cathy McCollom (David), John Walston (Betty), William Walston (Joyce) and Norma Tucker (Richard); and his sisters, Azalee Watson and Evelyn Edgerton (Jimmy). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
