He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Pitts of DeKalb; his children, Jean Brown of DeKalb, Robert Bryan Pitts (Lisa) of DeKalb and Rodney Pitts of DeKalb; his grandchildren, Lisa Jolly (Brandon), Jody Smith (Stacey), Justin Pitts (Lindsey), Clifton Pitts (Kala), Emily Morgan Pitts and Candace Pitts; and his siblings, Pat Mulford of Ohio, Dorothy Berryhill of South Carolina, Daisy Douglas of Vicksburg, Esther Fay Govea of DeKalb and David Pitts of Golden, MS. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
