He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lana Gibson of DeKalb; his children, Gina Colville of Horn Lake, Leah McCollum (Billy) of Hernando and Michael Gibson (Leslie) of Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Christine Glass (Brian), Megan Gibson Tubby, Kimber Branning (Nick), Dakota Higginbotham (Ty), Lundy Longoria, Vinnie Longoria, Cooper McCollum (Abby), JonMark Gibson (Jordan), Morgan Colville, Riley McCollum and Zack Smith; his siblings, Carolyn Griffin of Plantersville and Jerry Gibson of Madison; his daughter Christy Longoria; and his parents, James Gibson and Viva Gibson. He was also cherished by 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Big Oak United Methodist Church, or a favorite charity.
