He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ginn and Catherine Dickson Ginn; his wife Joy Crow Ginn; and his grandson Hugh Lance Ginn. He is survived by: his children, Brant Ginn (Judy), Clay Ginn (Gina), Pat Ginn (Donnita) and Greg Ginn of Corinth, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Brandon Ginn (Cosmina), Daniel Ginn, Jenny Ginn, Michael Ginn, Kevin Ginn (Jaymie) and Nathan Ginn (Macy); his great grandchild Brodie Ginn; and his sister Kay Terascavage (Gene).
