She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hively and Ruthie Mullins Hively; her husband Robert Kendrick Palmer; and her brothers, Bill, Kenneth and Jodie Hively.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Thigpen (Dennis) of Killen, AL; her sister-in-law Sue Hively; her nieces and nephews, Nick Hively (Pat), Tammy Jungiewicz, Keith Hively (Lisa), Paula Grimes (Chris), Julie Hatfield, Carol Brawner, Kenny Lynn Hively and Paul Moore (Tootles); and her caregivers, Barbara Hearn and Linda Bobo.
