He was predeceased by: his son Larry Stogner; his parents, William "Bud" Stogner and Mary Turnage Stogner; and his grandson Larry Stogner, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ann Stogner of Columbia; his children, Linda Townsend (Jimmy) of Columbia, Debbie Ashley of Columbia, David Baker (Tiffaney) of Andrews, TX, John Baker (Lisa) of Columbia and Michael Baker (Rebecca) of Columbia; and his brother Varion Stogner of Columbia. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
