It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Elaine Beard Fortenberry (Columbia, Mississippi), who passed away on October 23, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mace Beard and Olivia Gurka; her brothers, George Beard and Tony Beard; and her spouse James C..
She is survived by: her sons, Jamie Fortenberry (Gerri) of Columbia and Jason Fortenberry (Memrie) of Madison, MS; her grandchildren, Blake Dupuy (Brandy), Braxton Dupuy, Mamie Fortenberry and Lela Fortenberry; and her great grandchild Presleigh Dupuy.
