He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Herrin and Irene Simmons Fite; his brother Larry Fite; and his brother-in-law John Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Donna Fite of Columbia; his children, Chris Fite (Jessie) of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jim Fite (Rachel) of New Orleans, Louisiana, Michael Fite (Kenlie) of New Orleans, Louisiana and Anna Pounds (Eddie) of Columbia; his brothers, David Fite (Bertel) of Shreveport and Mark Fite of Columbia; his grandchildren, Xander Sharp of New Orleans, Mia Sharp of New Orleans, Gabriel Pounds of Columbia and Katherine Pounds of Columbia; and his siblings-in-law, Sonya Fite of Foxworth, Diann Phelps Meador of Hawesville, Kentucky and Doug Phelps (Peggy) of Nashville, Tennessee. He is also survived by Nieces & Nephews.
