He is survived by: his wife Helen (McDermit) of Columbia, MS.; his children, Barry Patterson (Valerie) of Collierville, TN and Trina Sapen (Rance) of Ridgeland, MS; his grandchildren, Nolan Patterson, Carter Patterson, Callie Sapen, Marion Sapen and Emma Sapen; and his sibling Burben Patterson of Vancouver, Canada..
