He was predeceased by: his daughter Linda Barnes; and his parents, Forrest Barnes and Ruth McDaniel Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Barnes of Columbia; his daughters, Vicki Moore (Bill) of Amory, MS, Debbie Doane (Allan) of Columbia and Melissa Essary (Clay) of Bassfield, MS; his sister Carolyn Buckley (Ronnie) of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Justin Dement (Kauan), Emily Doane, Abby Doane, Kyle Essary, Taylor Essary, Luke Moore, Rusty Moore and Austin Moore. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
