He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Creel; his children, Caterina Creel, Ashley Hurst (David), Wade Creel, Caleb Creel, Tyler Stringer (Ashley), Travis Fortenberry and Timothy Fortenberry; his father C. W. Creel; his sisters, Shannon Thomason (David), Melissa Collier (Steve) and Brandi Wilmoth (Bert); his stepfather Michael Pilgrim (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Chesleigh, Kameron and Andrew. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
