With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Parker of Columbia, Mississippi, who passed away on August 30, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Parker; her parents, Travis Rutland and Mamie Rutland; her siblings, Odell Sanford, Ozzie Rutland, Norman Rutland and Cordell Rutland; and her grandson Jeremy Riels.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Douglas (Sylvester) of Columbia, Michelle McNeese (Sebastian) of Bassfield and Lane Parker of Columbia; her sister Polly Russell (Wayne) of Horn Lake; and her grandchildren, Audria Bishop (Justin), Travis Culpepper (Tiara), Cheyenne Parker, Sierra Riels, Colton Parker and Case Parker. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
