She is survived by: her husband Bill Broom of Columbia; her sons, Tim Broome (Bobbie) of Gadsden, AL and Jeff Broom (Jessica) of Columbia; her siblings, Sylvia Sandford of Columbia, Ruby J. Broom of Columbia, Linda Cox of Columbia, Janice McAlister (Kenny) of Columbia, Nita Cook of Pachuta, MS, Judith Prine of Bassfield, MS, Ralph "Bo" Prine (Becky) of Columbia and Johnny Prine of Bassfield; and her grandchildren, Audria Bishop, Tyler Broom, Tanner Broom, Javen McDermit, Hayden Hobgood and Kaylee Broom. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
