She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Bowman; and her parents, Sercie Branton and Erma J. Branton. She is survived by: her daughters, Jean McDaniel (Perry), Myra Hayes (Henry) and Beverly Cupit. She is also survived by seven Grandchildren, fifteen Great Grandchildren, and two Great Great-Grandchildren.
