He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Jean Alexander; his son James F. Smith; and his brother Hugh Dwayne Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Joyce Hale of Independence, MS, Rocky Vince Alexander of Cockrum, MS, Vince Martin Alexander of Hernando, MS, Richard Allen Alexander of Independence, MS and Terry Randall Alexander of Independence, MS; and his brothers, Ray Alexander of Pontotoc, MS, John Alexander of Coldwater, MS and Robert Alexander of Thyatira, MS. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
