He was predeceased by: his wife Michele Geeslin Whitehurst; his father Larry Whitehurst; his grandfather Harvey Wallace; and his half-brother Wayne Battles. He is survived by: his son Larry Alan Whitehurst of Arkansas; his mother Johnnie Whitehurst of Olla, LA; his siblings, Cheryl Hughes of Georgia and Tracy Whitehurst of Senatobia, MS; his half-sisters, Angie Battles of Louisiana and Rhonda Thornley of Oakland, TN; and his grandchildren, Ryan Whitehurst, Michael Whitehurst, Natalie Whitehurst, Abraham Whitehurst and Conor Whitehurst.
