She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Harris Sparrow and Ida Bush Sparrow; her husband George Chester Rentz; her son James Gregory Rentz; and her siblings, Hermia Napper, Bill Sparrow, Bush Sparrow, Anna Norwood and Winston Sparrow.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Leigh Pilgrim, Husband Josh, Ashley Rentz and Zoie McClure; her great grandchild Conner Robertson; and her siblings, Pettus Sparrow and Wylda Sparrow.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Hopewell Baptist Church of Lavaca, Alabama.
