He was predeceased by: his son Edward Pierce; and his sisters, Bonnie Keen and Myrtle. He is survived by: his children, Linda Edmonds of Noxapater, Martha Anding of Union, Brenda McNeil of Lena, Nora Ainsworth of Noxapater and Jason Pierce (Gail) of Vardaman; his stepchildren, Nancy Coats (David) of Philadelphia and Scott Keen of Philadelphia; and his sister Bessie Bryant (George) of Gautier. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
