It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merian Totten Wale of Carriere, Mississippi, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas M. Totten and Lelia G. Totten; her sister Jewel Taylor; her grandson Derrick Richmond; and her great grandchild Finley Beavers.
She is survived by: her children, Chuck (Debbie), Mike (Susan) and Mary (Hal McAfee); and her siblings, Wanda Forsyth, Barbara Roberts, Leslie Totten and Millie Gurley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
