He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Spiers and Blanche Odell Spiers; his wife Frances Worthy Spiers; his children, Gerald Roger Spiers and Janet Spiers LeBlanc; and his brothers, Robert S. Spiers, Jr. and Max Spiers.
He is survived by: his daughter Celeste Spiers Yanes (Jaime); his grandchildren, Brian LeBlanc, Christopher Yanes (Amy), Evan Yanes (Elena) and Katelyn Yanes; and his sisters, Shirley Hollimon and Peggy Garriga (Mitch). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
