He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Galey Meredith and Bill Meredith of Black Hawk, MS.; his siblings, William Meredith, Jimmy Meredith and Penny Garrett; his son Tony Madden; his great grandchild A. J. Harville; and his nephew Carl Anthony Hoover.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Sherri Madden Boman (Bill), Lonnie Meredith (Brenda), Sonia Meredith, Jonathan Meredith, Angela Stone (David), Jimmie Lamatte (Sonnie) and Jeremy Meredith; his sisters, Nancy Emily Nix and Jeanette Dewett (Ed); and his sister-in-law Darlene Meredith. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
