He was predeceased by: his parents, John Knox and Ruth Eloise Davis Newberry. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ann Halbert Newberry of Caledonia, MS; his daughter Christi Newberry Painter (Michael) of Caledonia, MS; his brother Donald Mack Newberry of Norfolk, VA; his grandsons, Robert Graham Allen of Anderson, SC and Evan Rhys Painter of Caledonia, MS; his great grandchildren, Johnathon Gage Allen, Casey Gunnar Allen and AnnaGrace Marie Allen; his nephew Michael Halbert (Melinda) of McCalla, AL; and his great-nephew Brent Halbert.
