He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Frances Campbell and John Thomas Mordecai; and his siblings, Eva Ozema Malone, Hazel Axemaker, Leona Faye Striplin, Shirley Weaver, Sue Pennington and Berry Mordecai.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Victoria Mordecai (Worthy); his children, Gregory Mordecai and Rhonda Russell (John); and his sister Martha Perry.
