We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2022, at the age of 86, Dorothy Griffin of Caledonia, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgie Andrews and Hoyle Grant; her birth parents, Virgie Andrew and Hoyle; her grandmother Louise Simpson; her sister Myra Schamel; her brother-in-law Jack Schamel (Floyd Griffin); and her son Carl Griffin.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Griffin (Bill); her children, Cheryl Shepherd (Lester) of Caledonia, Carol Barksdale (Steve) of Caledonia, Chris Griffin (Michele) of Caledonia and Camellia Moody (Mark) of Poulsbo, Washington; her grandchildren, Austin Shepherd, Sydney Hannah, Brittany Griffin, Lindsey Pounders, Mallory Rickard, Casey Anderson, Tayler Frye, Summer Walker, Jamie Bishop, Hunter Griffin, Drake Griffin, Maci Griffin, Nate Moody and Makenzie Moody; and her siblings, Edith Jordan of Clinton and Michael Grant of Caledonia. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
