He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Davis (Mike), Tommy Spoon (Sheila), Paul Spoon (Barbara) and Carl Spoon (Tamara); his brother-in-law Billy Joe Taylor (Donna); his close friend Doyle Rorie; his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Spoon, Kevin Spoon, Mickey Spoon, Timothy Spoon, Chris Davis and Lori McCommon; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Talon, McKenzie, Jonathan, Benjamin, Lincoln, Creed, Cayden, Mason, Laken, Josh, Stephen, Caleb, Anna, Kayla, T. J. and Robby.
