She was predeceased by: her husband Chester V. Newcomb; her son David Wayne Newcomb; her grandson John Wayne Rickman; her parents, John H. Spoon and Doskie Lee Blakney Spoon; and her siblings, Clifford Spoon, Kenneth Spoon, Elease Epperson, Virginia Newcomb and Imogene Thrasher.
She is survived by: her children, Chester Wayne Newcomb (Glenda) of Iuka and Linda Ruth Rickman (Jeff) of Corinth; her grandchildren, Mandie Nicole Wilbanks (Josh), Stephanie DeVaney (Carl) and Brook Wallace (Wyatt); and her great grandchildren, Elsie Jewel Wilbanks, Nathaniel Cole Wilbanks, Autry Nicole Wilbanks, Jessie Lane Wilbanks, Landon Wallace, Shelby Wallace, Allie DeVaney and Avery DeVaney.
