He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Taylor, Sr. and Marguarette Louise Melton Taylor. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Joy Crownover (Casey Crownover) of East Ridge, Tennessee and Melanie Louise Durden (Chris Durden) of Flintstone, Georgia; his grandchildren, Melissa, Dakota, Alana, Gage, Kaylen and James Phillip; his siblings, Laura Bailey (Erwin) of Clarksdale, Mississippi, Thelma Barefield of Jacksonville, Florida, Angie Lea Johnston (Wendle) of Missions, Texas, Esther Smith of Shreveport, Louisiana and James Taylor (Linda) of Bruce, Mississippi; and his aunts and uncles, Charles, Nellie Taylor of Statesville, Elsie Hundley of Sparta, Tennessee, Arthur and Mavis of Pelahatchie, Mississippi.. He is also survived by twenty-eight nieces and nephews.
