He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Jean Harris Ward; his daughters, Barbara Jeanell Brasher and Linda Diane Ward; his parent George Eddie Ward; his grandmother Pearl Stewart Ward; and his sisters, Mabel Ward and Willie Faye Walker.
He is survived by: his sons, Harold Ward (Pam) of Bruce, MS, Billy Ward of Bruce, MS and Bobby Ward (Maria Virginia) of Clarksville, TN; his grandchildren, Colton Ward, Bobby Ward Jr., Brian Ward, Corey Ward, Jared Ward, Mallory Ward and Joshua Ward; and his brother Dr. A. H. Ward (Linda Ann) of Pittsboro, MS.. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
